1. You will learn about and set up differents models of virtual machines that you will take with you and use and manage it in your environment

Program

1st day

- Check of the prerequisites, test of pre-installation

- Installation of the 1st VMware ESX server

- Fine tuning the installation

- Installation of the management tools

- Configuration and optimization of the installation

- Installation of the 2nd VMware ESX server

- Fine tuning the installation

- Configuration and optimization of the installation

2nd day

- Installation of VirtualCenter

- Installation of the Virtual Machines

- Creation of "OS Templates" (Windows and\or Linux)

- Deployment of the "OS Templates"

- Creation of automated tasks

- Management of the access rights

Afternoon (make your choice) :

- Connection of the servers ESX to the SAN

- Configuration and use of VMotion

- or Monitoring of alerts and performances

You will get a CD with

- Management Tools, latest drivers and patches, whitepapers, tips & tricks
